Here is an overview of our design process. It involves several steps, during which we are in frequent contact with you regarding the layout, design and functionality of your finished website. At most points in the process, we will require client feedback in order to design your site properly.

  1. Initial consultation: we discuss your needs, initial layout and design, and sketch out a site map to assist us in determining the number of pages you’ll need, and the navigation system required.
  2. Site design and layout: this is where we work out the “look” of your website, using graphics, logos and images, and also determine navigation of the site.
  3. Custom development or feature installation: we work on the backend and install/develop the applications used on your site.
  4. Content: we’re now ready to add your content to the site.
  5. Fit & finish: the final steps in tweaking and preparing your site for the public, making sure your site is neat and attractive, and navigation works as expected.
  6. Client trial: we have you walk through your site, testing everything and proofreading all of the content we have added to your site. This is the time to work out the last few bugs and perform any remaining tweaks to meet your approval.
  7. Flip the switch: your site is ready to “go live” on the web!
  8. Client training: we will show you your private administration area, and explain how it all works. This is where you will maintain your own content, and keep your site updated.
  9. Marketing and search engine positioning: we’ll consult with you to help get your site listed on the popular search engines, and suggest any marketing strategies for the web.
  10. Maintenance, support and upgrades: we’re available to maintain the functionality of your site, help with any problems, and discuss future updates or upgrades to your site.
